The Norma Bell Youth Leadership Award is funded by the generous bequest of Norma Bell, friend and supporter of youth development within St John Ambulance. The award recognizes a young person and celebrates their contribution to St John and their broader community and aims to provide them with professional development opportunities that they would not otherwise have.
This year’s Norma Bell Award winner is Annalise Denney, who is an active member of the Goulburn Combined Division in NSW. Annalise started her St John journey as an adult volunteer and has since managed to bring youth members into the division. She now spends her time sharing her passion for healthcare, training people in first aid and helping grow the division. This award will support Annalise in developing her leadership and management skills and allow her to learn from our colleagues in New Zealand, on how to further enhance the youth program.
